GM has presented a facelifted version of the Chevrolet Agile sub-compact hatch sporting both styling and mechanical revisions, some four years after the initial launch of the model in South America.
Cosmetically, the 2014 Agile features a reworked fascia with a tweaked grille, new bumper and headlamps, which work together with a redesigned rear bumper and new alloy wheel options.
The interior of Ford Fiesta-sized hatch has gained a newly styled steering wheel with available controls for the updated audio systems, plus new dials for the instrument panel, new graphics throughout, different panel moldings, while Chevy also claims that fit and finish has been improved.
Finally, GM has introduced a second generation five-speed manual transmission named F1X, which is said to allow the driver to change gears with less effort, while it also made changes to its Easytronic semi-automatic transmission.
Power for the Agile comes from a 1.4-liter flex-fuel engine delivering 102hp and 135Nm of peak torque when running on ethanol.
