The Genesis-inspired look of the all-new Hyundai Sonata has not surprised us one bit, since we were already acquainted with its face via an unofficial set of low-res parking lot shots. Gone are the swooping lines of the current Sonata, as is the noticeably pronounced rising side crease, replaced with a modern facial treatment and a much more restrained styling philosophy.

As so often happens with Hyundai when it introduces new models first in its home market, the international release on the 2015 Sonata was limited to preliminary info and only a handful of photos leaving the rest for the world premiere at the New York Auto Show in April.

Hyundai has released pricing information for its 2012 model year Sonata Hybrid sedan, which starts at $25,850, or $26,610 if you include a $760 delivery fee*. That's a $55 increase over the 2011 model. While there are no cosmetic or mechanical changes for the 2012MY, Hyundai has added its Blue Link telematics system the car's standard equipment.
