Comedian Lashes Out at YouTube Star's Hissy Fit Over Towed Prius, Claims he Did it [NSFW]

Who ever knew that online celebrity parking wars would spark so much interest? The current video craze on YouTube is about a duel between YouTube "celebrity" Joey Graceffa and comedian Nate Clark.

It all started when Graceffa posted a (NSFW) video on October 17 ranting about a "slut" owner of a "fat a$% car" who had his Toyota Prius towed because it was blocking the driveway "just a little bit".

Five days later, Nate Clark recorded a video response in which he claims it was his driveway that the hybrid was blocking and that he was the one who had Graceffa's car towed away.

If by any chance you're asking us whether Clark is actually telling the truth or simply trolling Graceffa just for kicks (or clicks), our reply is the classic shoulder shrug.

How Hard Can It Be? Driver Has a Hard and Long Time Backing Out of Parking

We’ve featured a lot of parking fail videos in the past, but we never cease to be amazed when new ones surface on the internet. While parallel parking is difficult for some drivers, backing out of a parking spot seems to be hard for others as well.

The following video has to be the best example of how not to exit a parking space. The footage shows a motorist that tries to back out her Opel Corsa from a half-empty parking lot somewhere in Europe. Four painfully long minutes pass from the moment she gets in the car until she actually leaves the lot.

The driver tries all sorts of maneuvers, except the right one. Furthermore, she wastes the time of another female driver trying to back out, forcing her to wait more than two minutes for the Corsa to leave the parking lot first.

Despite her poor space awareness, the Corsa driver has to be given credit for not hitting any of the cars in the parking lot. To tell you the truth, I’m still hoping that this was some sort of prank and that drivers like that don’t really exist.

App Called Anagog May or May Not Solve Your Parking Spot Finding Problems

Smartphones nowadays thoroughly warrant their names, and in combination with powerful software can do cool stuff like tell you where parking spots are available in real time. Such a system requires thousands of devices to be interconnected and exchange information, and if it wasn’t already up and running in Israel with allegedly 100,000 users, we would probably have dismissed it as witchcraft.

You can enter the land of free parking in Tel Aviv by downloading an app called Anagog, which is the work of an Israeli company that is currently seeking additional funding to expand out of its home country, and offer the service in Europe and the US. It has also been integrated into the FindMyCar app as an additional feature, being used to guide drivers back to their cars.

It works by tracking the movement of the smartphone holder, multiple ones in fact, and compiling all of the data to decipher where everybody has parked, how long they’ve been there and whether or not they’re on their way back. The information is then shown to users on a map in real time, and it can even go so far as to predict spots freeing up, and launching alerts beforehand – this could lead to a lot of stalking, but could work (if it actually does what it says on the tin) through diligent use.

Finally, let’s not forget the matter of privacy concerns. Clearly tracking people’s movements, predicting where the go, possibly working out specific patterns in time is definitely sensitive information and should be treated as such.

This is How They Deal with Abandoned and Illegally Parked Cars in Russia

When it comes to vehicles that are abandoned or parked illegally, most municipalities will issue tickets with the hope that owners will pay up and conform to the law, but sometimes, more drastic measures are called for.
In Russia, for example, some cities have no problem taking matters into their own hands and settling the problem once and for all, giving owners a tough lesson.
