The all-new Smart ForTwo and ForFour minicars will share up to 70 percent of their components with the new Renault Twingo that was unveiled at the Geneva Auto Show. However, Smart claims that their models will bear no resemblance to the French city car. The ForTwo will retain its iconic shape, while the ForFour will be inspired by the Fourjoy concept car.

Not a lot of people, aside from patriotic Italians, actually think about buying Fiats these days, the only exceptions being the 500 and Panda that are doing quite well – the two models came first and second in their segment in Europe last year, followed by the VW Up! and the now-defunct front-wheel drive Renault Twingo.
