Fast & Furious 7 will be Made With Paul Walker Lookalikes and CGI

Because that’s exactly what the world needs right now – the Fast Five movie (plus two) with forced plot twists, no co-star and an animated character. Granted, you’ll still see Paul Walker’s face and body in the film, planned to hit theaters across the US on April 10, 2015, but it won’t really be him half the time…

Toyota Truck Recovery Goes from Bad to "Holy F@%$" Faster Than You Can Say Down Under

The last thing you want or need when you're out in the wild "more than six hours away from the nearest help" is to have both of your main transportation means disabled, which is precisely what happened to a trio of Australians filming for an upcoming episode of the 'All 4 Adventures' television show on 7TWO.

Then again, since we are talking about television, perhaps this is the best thing that could have happened (ratings-wise, of course, of course) to presenters Jason Andrews and Simon Anderson, and to a lesser extent, Al the cameraman.

When the first Toyota truck got itself into a muddy and sticky situation, it wasn't that bad, but things took a turn for the worse when the tide starting coming in, and even more so, when the other Toyota that was doing the pulling…turned over. Watch the NSFW video below.

Audi Fleet Shuttle Quattro Makes Movie Debut; We Get a Better Look at it [w/Video]

The Audi fleet shuttle Quattro is not a real car, and the only way to see it outside of a screen is if you happen upon the 1:4 model that was displayed at the concept’s movie premiere in Ender’s Game – it will probably be paraded around though, so it’s not out of the question to see it.

Looks-wise, it does capture the vibe of the movie well yet retains the common Audi styling cues all around the body – the glass canopy is one of its highlight features, as are the completely covered wheels. These are detailed in one of the photos you’ll find in the gallery below.

I like the fact that the team behind it didn’t just design it to look cool and suitably futuristic, and actually took the time to figure out how it would all realistically work – we’ll have to actually see the movie to gauge just how well it all came together. Still, the video also found below does at one point show the car stripped down to the bare chassis - it’s nice to know that it was thought up with it in mind.

The interior is also designed to be/look functional, and it’s digitally grafted onto actual interior shots from aboard an A7 – Harrison Ford drove the series car during the filming; what you see around him in the film is CGI.

Michael Bay Attacked by Extortionists in Hong Kong while Filming Transformer 4, But Only Once

It isn't always easy to be a big-shot film director, and no, we're talking about bad press or critics (like ourselves…), but about actual physical attacks, and yes they do exist. Michael Bay, the director of the Transformers franchise, and members of his crew, were harassed and blackmailed last week while filming the fourth installment of the series named "Transformers: Age Of Extinction" in Hong Kong.

Rumored by the local press to be members of the Chinese triad, but dubbed simply goons on drugs by Bay himself, they attempted to extort "thousands of dollars" to leave the filming crew alone. Two brothers were eventually arrested after they allegedly demanded 100,000 Hong Kong dollars (close to US$13,000).

On Thursday, a new report stemming from Hong Kong stated that a second extortion attempt took place during filming, something that Bay denied.

"I’m here to set the record straight again…my crew and I have been having a great time in Hong Kong despite what you may have read about us being “rocked by a second extortion attempt.”  Totally untrue," Bay said in a posting. "A few bad dudes have definitely not ruined the experience.  We shoot from sun up to sun down, and the local HK crew have become part of our on-set family.  We’re in the middle of busy streets, in businesses, and even in people’s homes, and everyone we’ve met has been very accommodating and generous.  It’s been a once in a lifetime experience we’d all consider doing again."

As for last week's incident, Bay described it in a lengthy posting on his website thusly:

"Yes, the story is being passed around is not all true! Yes, some drugged up guys were being belligerent asses to my crew for hours in the morning of our first shoot day in Hong Kong. On guy rolled metal carts into some of my actors trying to shake us down for thousands of dollars to not play his loud music or hit us with bricks.

Every vendor where we shot got paid a fair price for our inconvenience, but he wanted four times that amount. I personally told this man and his friends to forget it we were not going to let him extort us. He didn't like that answer. So an hour later he came by my crew as we were shooting, carrying a long air conditioner unit. He walked right up to me and tried to smack my face, but I ducked threw the air unit on the floor and pushed him away. That's when the security jumped on him. But it took seven big guys to subdue him. It was like a Zombie in Brad Pitt's movie World War Z—he lifted seven guys up and tried to bite them. He actually bit into one of the guards Nike shoe, insane. Thank god it was an Air Max, the bubble popped, but the toe was saved.

Then it took fifteen Hong Kong cops in riot gear to deal with these punks. In all, four guys were arrested for assaulting the officers. After that, we had a great day shooting here in Hong Kong. The place couldn't be better."

Boo! It's Hyundai's Zombie Survival Machine from the New York Comic Con

I’m not sure why any automaker would want to be identified as a manufacturer of zombie-slaying machines, but Hyundai doesn't seem to have a problem with it. Who knows, maybe they’re thinking anything is possible in the future and a car equipped to kill zombies may open up a whole new lucrative segment for them.

Anyway, following the computer renderings of the Santa Fe Zombie Survival Machine designed by a fan, Galpin Auto Sports built the car, with the official presentation scheduled for today at the New York Comic Con. Anson Kuo’s Santa Fe design was picked as the winner out of more than 82,500 fan submissions on The Walking Dead Chop Shop configurator app.

It looks like the fan really put some thought into the project, taking care of “practical” details as well. “I knew knives and blades would be the best bet for weaponry – they could slice and dice the zombies without releasing any ammunition. Basing the design on the Santa Fe allows space for extra passengers as well as weapons, supplies and all the other necessary items needed during a real zombie apocalypse,” Kuo said.

The camouflaged Zombie Survival Machine features knife blades, an automatic crossbow, razor-wired windows, three machine guns, a samurai sword, aluminum armor and a muffler silencer – so you know, it can roll undetected […].

The special Santa Fe will be on display at the Future US booth, along with a zombie make-up artist, limited edition giveaways, and more. The Hyundai and Future US displays will be located at Booth #542 on the Javitz Center show floor.

Jeremy Clarkson Filmed and Photographed Driving McLaren P1 for TG, Says He Loves It

The chit-chatter on the interwebs today is that Jeremy Clarkson and the filming crews from Top Gear UK were at the Spa-Francorchamps motor-racing circuit in Belgium testing the new McLaren P1 hybrid supercar.

Clarkson confirmed it with a Twitter post that read, "Right. The P1. Complete game changer. The next chapter in motoring. Speed like you simply would not believe".

The black-colored P1 was both filmed and photographed in and around the racetrack by fans of the show, with the famed matte-black Mercedes-Benz Pursuit ML63 AMG camera car and a helicopter also making an appearance.

We assume it won't be long before we see the car on Top Gear's television show, but until then, enjoy the material we have right below the jump.

DeLorean NYC Taxi Concept Promises to Take You Back to Another Time

As the great Dr. Emmett "Doc" Brown once put it, "Once this baby hits 88 miles per hour, you're going to see some serious s*it."
Sadly, time-travel has yet to be invented, but that's not the only problem with this New York City taxicab that's based on the DeLorean featured in the Back to the Future trilogy.

Ferris Bueller is Back in a Mystery Super Bowl Teaser

One of the most famous movie scenes from the 1980s is from "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" when Bueller's buddy Cameron accidentally pushes his dad's 1961 Ferrari 250 GT California out of the window and goes, "What did I do? What did I do?", and Bueller replies, "You killed the car."
It's been almost 26 years since the movie became a cult hit for an entire generation of teens and 20-somethings, and today, a mystery video appeared on YouTube showing a middle-age Mathew Broderick reprising his role of Ferris Bueller.
